Privacy Policy

The short version
IGCSE Physics Prep stores your study history, flagged questions, flashcard progress, and chat transcripts on your device. We do not have a server that holds your data. We do not run analytics or ad trackers inside the app. The only time anything leaves your phone is when you ask the AI tutor a question — in which case the message text (and any image you attach) is sent to our AI provider to generate a reply.
What we collect
- Nothing, by default. Installing the app and answering practice questions creates no network activity and no account.
- Messages you send to the AI tutor. When you tap "send" on the Tutor tab, the message text and any image you attached is transmitted to Anthropic (the AI provider) to generate the reply. Anthropic's terms govern how they handle that content; see anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
- Camera / photo library access. Only used when you explicitly attach an image to a tutor message. The image is sent to the AI provider as described above. We do not retain it.
What we do not collect
- No account, no login, no email address.
- No analytics, telemetry, or crash-report SDKs.
- No advertising identifiers. No tracking across apps or sites.
- No sale or sharing of data with third parties (other than the AI provider above, strictly for generating tutor replies).
Children's privacy
The app is aimed at IGCSE students, typically aged 14–16. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, this applies to all users regardless of age.
Your rights
Because your study data is stored only on your device, you have full control. Deleting the app removes all of it. There is nothing for us to "delete on request" — we never received it in the first place.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new version will be published at this URL.
